If you are looking to add some extra muscle for beach season, frequency training works great. Do anywhere from 25-100 reps (depending on your level and what challenges you) of pushups or dips, chinups and bodyweight squats every day for 3 weeks straight, and take the fourth week off. This is a great way to maximize muscle gains, and can be added to any program you are currently doing.
