Fruit Juice – If you would like to get the health benefits of a piece of fruit then eat a piece of fruit… the whole piece of fruit! Drinking only the juice is like trying to drive only the frame of a car without the engine or transmission. It’s just not going to give you the same results and can have negative consequences.
Processed Cereals, Oatmeal, Granola, and Bars – Eat a variety of whole foods on a daily basis and you will do a much better job of getting all of your micro and macro nutrients than trying to meet adequate levels with processed cereals, oatmeal, granola, and bars. Processed food companies have one interest in mind, and it is not making you healthier. Don’t believe anything written on a box of processed food, they can write whatever they want and it is not regulated.
