Living in upstate New York it is commonly known that we do not have the best weather. In addition the entire Binghamton area has not been doing so great economically in the past 30 years or so. People are constantly posting things on social media reminding us that we are among the countries leaders in obesity and depression. What I find to be most intriguing is what a convenient excuse this is for people to explain their lack of success in achieving their goals.

Life is what you make it. When is the last time you truly did something rewarding? When is the last time you wanted to start taking better care of yourself and actually did it? When is the last time you set a goal and hit it?

It is time to stop using all of the obstacles around you as excuses. No matter who you are there is always someone who has it worse, and things could always get worse compared to your current situation. Work to become to best YOU regardless of who or where you are. Not blessed with the best genetics? Then become the strongest and most fit version of yourself. Don’t like where you live? Learn about your community and take steps every day to make it better. If you don’t have time to train, then maximize the time you do have. If your gym doesn’t have a whole lot, who cares, make the best program possible and work your butt off. If you don’t have a lot of resources then ask plenty of questions and learn from those who have done it.

Start putting these words to practice and see just what you can achieve!

I can do pull-ips and push-ups with ease and am lifting more weight than i ever imagined. I'm stronger and leaner than ever before and have a lot more confidence in myself. Anthony's infinite knowledge..."
