In order to be successful in regards to fitness and nutrition, you have to embrace the fact that you most likely will be doing things much differently than friends, family, co-workers, and other people that surround you. Let’s be honest, the majority of people do not have goals pertaining to improving their health and fitness. Even those who say they do, often do not make a consistent effort each day towards achieving those goals.

This means one basic thing, in order to succeed you must do things differently, so Embrace It. If you are out at a restaurant, embrace the fact that you are ordering something healthier than everyone else. Embrace the fact that you are the only one not drinking alcohol because you have to train the next day. Embrace that you are wobbling around at work because you are sore. Embrace being the only person saying no to birthday cake in the office. Embrace everything that makes you different than all the John Smiths and Jane Does out there. Let it all become the extra fuel you need to makes strides towards your goals every day of your life.
